SUPPORTED LIVING

We have a range of services for our community members who want support to manage their daily chores. We are passionate about working for our people and making their life easy by providing them with our valuable services to cope with daily work activities they find challenging. We aim to make them independent and spend their life according to their wishes and desires without worrying about household tasks.

  • Men and women
  • 18 years + of age
  • Primary diagnosis of Mental health
  • Dual diagnosis Learning disability
  • May have complex needs
  • May have a forensic history
  • May be subject to a Community Treatment Order (CTO)

What’s not included in our services:

We do not provide our services to :

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Detained under the Mental Health Act
  • Detained under Deprivation of Liberties (DOLs)
  • Schedule 1 offenders (any sexual offences)
  • History of arson
  • Substance abuse (alcohol, drugs)
  • Nursing needs
  • Mobility issues (stairs)

Supported Living:

RUA Care provides its supported living services for people facing daily life challenges due to disabilities, be they mental or physical. We help our community individuals to live a carefree independent life and let RUA provides the care for them. Through our innovative and customer-centered designed support system, we help them live the desired life with dignity without being dependent on anyone. 

Our Supported Living services include everything that is part of daily life. 

  • Personal Care:
    We take care of all your personal things that you may find a little challenging to perform. Our professionals will make sure to cover all areas of personal care.
  • Healthy eating:
    Our team will ensure to provide you with healthy eating essentials at your door without you having to step outside and struggle to bring things home.
  • Medication Compliance:
    Our team of experts will ensure to provide you with the medicines on time. We will ensure all your prescribed medicines reach you timely and you consume them as prescribed by your healthcare professional.
  • Maintaining the Home:
    Our team will help you with all your house chores, so you don't have to struggle with any challenges. Our care staff will take care of your entire home and perform any required maintenance tasks. Our passionate staff is determined to work for our community and create a better help system.
  • Paying Bills and Budgeting:
    Our staff will help you pay all your bills and make a budget that comprises all your needs. We are here to make your life comfortable and help you live with ultimate dignity.
  • Maintaining Tenancies:
    We want our customers to feel secure in their homes. We keep all your data records of the needs and requirements and look after all the requirements that are on the list. Be it payment of your timely rentals, looking after your house and yards, avoiding any disturbance for the neighbors, and making your neighbors aware of your condition. They can contact us for any emergency help. We help you with any maintenance work needed so you can live your life with all the necessary compliance.
  • Support and Benefits:
    We provide you with all the support you need to live your life as an independent individual. We are bound to maintain and improve your living conditions, and our services seek to support you in maintaining your daily life routines. We help you receive any financial benefits, allowances for disabled people and any other financial and non-financial support that the government of the UK provides for its people facing physical and mental challenges.
  • Employment and further education
    We look forward to helping you with further education with our support program and support you in getting hired by companies that promote the well-being of disabled adults that look forward to living independently and growing for their well-being.
  • Participating in community-based activities
    We prepare you and help you to participate in community-based activities. It will keep your mental well-being healthy and increase your social circle. It will also build your lost confidence in yourself and helps you grow and nurture

We can help any individual approaching the age of 18 who has been assessed as requiring care and who would like us to start planning their future support.

We provide them with choices and the support they need to achieve their young hopes and dreams.      We help our young fellows facing mental or physical challenges find accommodation that meets their needs. We want to make them live an independent life like an adult and get all their tasks done to make them live normal life.

     We want our young generation to develop new skills to help them overcome their struggles. It will help them live a more free and independent life, and they can overcome any challenge they face in their future life.
  • Socialization:
    We help our young individuals to engage in local community activities, participate and show their talent. We want to boost their self-confidence and help them socialize to raise their living standards.
  • Lead a normal life:
    We want our young fellows to enjoy their family life, make friends and get all the meaning of this life always to cherish.
  • Safety:
    Our teams ensure our people's safety and well-being and help them live a happy and secure life.
  • Self-Centered Support:
    We provide a self-centered support system based on our patient's needs. We work with individuals, their families and healthcare professionals to work on the best support system tha fits individuals' needs.
  • Skilled Support Team:
    We provide a skilled and experienced support team of trained professionals who will help our people with the best support and care.
  • Employment:
    We help our young people with skills and help them get employment, so they lead their life with high self-esteem and improve their welfare.

In our Care Pathway program, we help individuals seeking our services develop their levels of Independence and lead a comfortable self-regulating life. Through our care pathway, we provide:

  • Personal Care Service:
    RUA Care allows our community members to gain our personal care services, where we take care of all the daily life routines of individuals and help them with all their tasks, which might sound challenging. Customer satisfaction is our priority; we go the extra mile to serve our people with the best services.
  • Delayed Discharge Service:
    We are well aware that there are times when getting discharged from hospitals is delayed due to many circumstances. RUA Care bridge the gap between short-term accommodation and care packages when such circumstances arise. We provide our customers with time-limited packages so they can easily return to their homes and live comfortably.
